Mentor Portland establishes and supports meaningful
relationships between safe and caring adults over the age of 21
and Portland youth between the ages of 8-14
through a community that is committed to their growth and success. The youth in our community have different
stories and different struggles, but need is the same: someone they can trust, someone who's consistent, someone they can look
up to, and a sense of safe community. A mentor's year-long presence has a direct and positive impact on youth Youth aren't
the only ones whose lives can change from this friendship, mentoring can change two lives - theirs and yours.
Mentor Portland is a program of Boys & Girls Aid. Boys & Girls Aid works to impact the lives of children in need by
connecting youth with safe places to live temporarily, permanent loving homes, and positive relationships with caring
adults.
