We serve Portland youth between the ages of 8-14. Our youth have experienced serious interruptions to their personal and family stability; whether they have a parent incarcerated or are in the foster care system. Our youth represent diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, but the need is the same: someone they can trust, someone who's honest, someone they can look up to, and a sense of safe community. That's where mentoring can help.

Most of our youth live in outer southeast Portland; however we match youth from all over Portland. The youth and their families go through an application process and are then deemed appropriate for mentoring by program staff. We believe strongly in valuing our youth and their choices, and therefore enroll only those who independently opt to participate, with no mandatory referrals.

If you know of a youth who could benefit from our mentoring community, please contact Kristin Harper at 503-542-2702 or download a youth referral form by clicking here.
